MEET CHARLOTTE

Yup, that's me. I'm a detective. I solve mysteries. That was written when my friend Penny invited me to California. She had found an old map. We followed it and went on a Search for a Lost Treasure.

How did it all start? How did I become a detective?
Well, here's another story that tells how it all happened.

Penny and her brother, Timmy, build a dog house in their backyard for me. I followed them to school  No one would let me in. I saw a red sweater on the ground. It had a hood. I put it on. I got up on my hind legs. Then I was let in. I did everything the  kids did in school. And soon I could talk to them.

There always was a mystery to solve. I like mysteries. I decided to become a detective. I knew I could be a very good detective. I made a sign. I gave out business cards to everyone.

And that is how I got written up in the newspaper.

Search for Lost Treasure is only one of the mysteries I have solved. When Penny, Timmy and I went to Colorado to visit the old Whispering Gold Mine, I solved the mystery of why it whispered.

There is a book written about it.
Here, you can read the first chapter.
                      CHAPTER 1
"I see it," said five year old Timmy.
He pointed to an old wooden sign.
"I see it, too," said Penny.
Charlotte, pug, and Master Detective  saw it too. She was in Colorado with her friends. They had come to see an old Whispering Gold Mine.
"Do you think we will hear it whisper?" asked Timmy.
Charlotte  wanted to hear it whisper.
"Do you think we will dig for gold?"
                                           asked Timmy.
       "I don't know," said Penny.
"That's what they do in a mine," said Timmy. "They dig for gold."
"Not all mines," said Penny. "They dig for other stuff, too."
She had that know-it-all-look. Head up. Nose in the air.
       "Yeah, I know," said Timmy.
He was used to his sister. She was seven. Most times, she was smarter.
They got closer to the sign.
Charlotte saw cars parked near it. And a lot of people.
Then a man said, "Welcome to the Whispering Gold Mine."
But Charlotte didn't see any gold mine. Just trees. And grass. And weeds. And the high rocky mountain.
The man was tall. He had on jeans and a shirt. He had on heavy boots. On his head was a strange hat.
He waved his arm and said,  "Follow me."
And they walked right into the mountain.

And that was just the beginning. Subscribe below to read the whole story and  learn more about my adventures.
